Standing out from the crowd

For the past week Nicky has been handwriting one hundred postcards to send out to local businesses. We haven’t been asking for work, we haven’t tried to pitch. We just said Hey, you’re doing a fab job in tricky times. Hang on in there, brighter days are coming.

When was the last time you had a handwritten card or note? (other than Christmas or Birthday cards) We reckon it might have been a while. But everyone likes getting happy post. Usually when the post arrives it is full of bills or things that add to your to do list, so we figured a card saying you’re great would make people smile, and we all need more of that!

So today our suggestion is this. Pick ten of your best customers and send them a card through the post. You’ll bring them a smile, they’ll appreciate it and you’ll be firmly stamped in their memory, standing out from the crowd.
