We all know video content wins on pretty much every social platform, and if you currently don’t do any, then anything is better than nothing.
However, if you are looking to streamline your video content a little more and really make sure you’re getting it right and it’s optimised for every social platform, then we have a little grid here sharing how long each video should last on each platform.
Facebook – 1 minute.
Twitter – 45 seconds.
Instagram – 30 seconds.
Pinterest – 3 minutes.
YouTube – Under 3 minutes or over 10 minutes.
If you want to do one video that is going to work well on all platforms then aim for 2 minutes. This is based on numerous surveys and engagement rates being studied, so acts as a good guide.
