Do you use Twitter for personal or business use? Or do you steer well clear?
Twitter have just posted their first quarter results, since founder Jack Dorsey announced his intention to depart, and managed to add more than 6 million users in that 3 months!
They’ve also posted a year on year profit increase of a whopping 22%.
Nicky accesses her personal account on Twitter numerous times a day. She finds it by far the fastest platform for breaking news stories and detailed information, direct from the horses mouth, so to speak, before it gets embellished or ‘adjusted’ by the mainstream media. It has particularly been an eye opener throughout the pandemic on just how manipulative the MSM are.
But we know it’s not everyone’s bag. It can take some getting used to, but once you’re in you’re usually hooked.
One of the things that Nicky particularly likes about it is that whilst on Facebook you are connected with people you know, on Twitter you can choose to be connected with people you don’t know, but that share similar (or opposing! Healthy debate is good!) views. So you can be fairly confident that your timeline is going to be interesting to you.
