Did you know you could (and should) backup LinkedIn?

This is a quick and easy one for all you LinkedIn fans.

Did you know you could back it up? Or that you should? LinkedIn is vulnerable to hackers, or as you may have seen fairly recently they can just remove your profile without a word of warning, leaving you with nothing, after all those years of building up your connections.

Luckily there is an easy fix.

Now, you could spend an age copying all the files into text files, or you could take individual screenshots of all your pages. You could……..

OR you could just do this;

Click the “Me” icon at top of your LinkedIn homepage.
Click “Settings & Privacy.”
Under Data privacy, How LinkedIn uses your data
Click “Change” next to Get a copy of your data.
This will take you to the “Request your data archive” page.

That’s it, done.

You’re welcome!
