Case Study

Sale & Davys Playgroup

ames and Nicola began working with Sale and Davys Playgroup 3 years ago. At that time the website was desperately out of date and the now buzzing Facebook page was non existent.

And so it began. James set to work straight away on producing an information packed website which aimed to answer any questions a potential parent might have and give an insight into what a day at playgroup was like. Alongside this the Facebook page was launched, packed with images and posts, and parents and guardians were informed of its existence and to ‘watch this space’ for news and updates.

A great link with parents. Between them James and Nicola breathed a new lease of life into the online presence of the playgroup. Followers came easily, what parent doesn’t want to know what their children get up to, especially when they are often so reluctant to tell you! However, they did keep a close eye on the new ‘likers’ and with the support of playgroup staff only authorised people they knew had some link or potential link to playgroup due to the sensitive information you are dealing with when children are involved. Although it isn’t necessary to have it as a closed group, it is something that is continuously monitored.

Then there was video. As time has progressed and social media has evolved Babbl have produced 3 varying bespoke videos for Sale and Davys Playgroup. They have been used at key times to increase attendees when the natural progression to school for some children means numbers decline. One of the videos was shared multiple times on Facebook and has been viewed a staggering 3,900 times! Not bad for a small village playgroup with a very limited niche market. These videos have been exceptionally successful and this September saw the playgroup in its strongest position yet going into a new academic year.

Don’t just take our word for it though! Michelle Berry who has been Treasurer for the charity for many years left us a pretty fabulous review on our Facebook page “I have had the privilege of working with these guys over the last 3-4 years. They are nothing other than professional, hard-working and self-motivated. Their enthusiasm in helping you achieve your goal and build your dream is second to none. If you are just starting out, a small business which struggles to maintain or increase their market presence, then these are the peeps for you. Fun-loving and extremely talented at what they do … you will not regret speaking to them for their help and support. Let them sort out the ‘hard work’ of marketing while you reap the rewards of a newly flourishing business. You have nothing to lose but everything to gain – BOOM. Don’t take my word for it … try BabblSocial for yourself. You will not be disappointed.”

Sale and Davys Playgroup have just this week instructed us to build their new and improved website and we can’t wait to get our hands on it and wow them again!
